Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 1, 2026

DualShots is built with privacy at its core. Your photos and videos never leave your device. We do not sell your data to anyone.

This Privacy Policy describes how Reidxsoft ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the DualShots mobile application ("App"), available exclusively on the Apple App Store.

By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information We Do NOT Collect

DualShots is primarily an offline camera application. We want to be transparent about what we do not collect:

1.2 Anonymous Analytics Data

We use Firebase Analytics (provided by Google) to collect anonymous, aggregated usage data to improve the App. This data includes:

This data is collected in aggregate and cannot be used to identify individual users. No personal information is attached to analytics data. Firebase Analytics uses an anonymous App Instance ID — not linked to your Apple ID or any personal identifier.

For details, see Firebase Privacy Information and Google Privacy Policy.

1.3 Subscription Data

When you subscribe to DualShots Pro, the following data is processed by third parties on our behalf:

Data Processed By Purpose
Payment information Apple Process payments securely
Purchase receipts RevenueCat Verify subscription status
Anonymous user ID RevenueCat Track entitlements per device

We do not have access to your credit card number, billing address, or other financial information. All payment processing is handled securely by Apple.

2. Device Permissions

DualShots requests the following device permissions, each used solely for its stated purpose:

Permission Purpose Required?
Camera Live preview, photo/video capture Yes
Microphone Audio recording with video Yes
Photo Library (Add Only) Save captured media to your gallery Yes
App Tracking Transparency Personalized analytics & ad attribution Optional

We request "Add Only" access to your Photo Library. This means we can save new photos and videos but cannot read, browse, or access your existing media.

You can revoke any permission at any time through iOS Settings. Revoking camera or microphone access will prevent the App from functioning.

3. App Tracking Transparency (ATT)

DualShots respects Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework. On first launch, you will be asked whether you allow the App to track your activity. This permission affects whether Firebase Analytics can associate data with your device's advertising identifier (IDFA).

You can change this preference at any time in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.

4. Third-Party Services

The App integrates the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:

We do not share your data with advertisers, data brokers, or any other third parties beyond those listed above.

5. Data Storage & Security

App settings and preferences (camera mode, quality, theme, etc.) are stored locally on your device using encrypted local storage. This data never leaves your device and is deleted when you uninstall the App.

Analytics data processed by Firebase is stored on Google's servers in accordance with their security practices and applicable data protection regulations.

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect the limited data we process. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure.

6. Data Retention

7. Children's Privacy

DualShots is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age of consent in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete such information.

8. International Users

DualShots is available worldwide through the Apple App Store. If you are using the App from outside Turkey, please be aware that analytics data may be transferred to and processed in countries where Google and RevenueCat operate, including the United States. By using the App, you consent to such transfers.

9. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights regarding your data:

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at support@reidxsoft.com. We will respond within 30 days.

10. California Residents (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information is collected, request deletion of your personal information, and opt-out of the sale of your personal information. We do not sell personal information to third parties.

11. European Users (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), our legal basis for processing anonymous analytics data is our legitimate interest in improving the App. You have the right to object to this processing by opting out of analytics or contacting us.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or legal requirements. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated through the App or our website. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
