1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of POW! Comic Maker ("the App"), published by ReiDxSoft ("we", "our", "us"). By downloading, installing, or using the App you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference.

If you do not agree, please do not download, install, or use the App.

2. End User License Agreement

This section is the End User License Agreement ("EULA") between you and ReiDxSoft for the App. It supplements and incorporates Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement ("Apple Standard EULA"). Where these Terms conflict with the Apple Standard EULA, the Apple Standard EULA controls to the extent of the conflict.

2.1 License Grant

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to download, install, and use the App on any Apple-branded device that you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules of the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.

2.2 License Restrictions

You shall not:

copy, modify, adapt, translate, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or create derivative works based on the App, except to the extent permitted by applicable law;
distribute, lease, sell, resell, transfer, publicly display, transmit, broadcast, or otherwise exploit the App or any part of it;
remove, alter, or obscure any proprietary notices on the App;
use the App for any illegal or unauthorised purpose, or in any manner that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair our infrastructure;
use bots, scrapers, crawlers, or any automated means to access or interact with the App;
attempt to gain unauthorised access to the App, other users' accounts, or any system connected to the App;
use the App in a way that interferes with other users' enjoyment of it.

2.3 Ownership and Intellectual Property

The App and all of its content, design, code, branding, animations, icons, and trademarks (excluding the comic pages you generate — see Section 6) are and remain the exclusive property of ReiDxSoft and its licensors. These Terms do not grant you any right, title, or interest in the App except for the limited license described above.

3. Description of Service

POW! Comic Maker is an AI-assisted comic creation tool. You write a story prompt, optionally add character reference images, choose a style, page count, aspect ratio, resolution, and language; the App then renders the requested pages by sending those inputs to a third-party AI image generation provider, persists the result in your history, and lets you share or revisit it.

Generation typically takes between a few seconds and a few minutes per page. Individual pages may occasionally fail due to upstream errors or content moderation rejections; failed pages are refunded automatically (see Section 4.4).

4. Subscriptions, Credit Packs & In-App Purchases

4.1 POW! Comic Maker Pro Subscription

The App offers an optional premium subscription ("POW! Pro") that grants a recurring allowance of generation credits. Subscription options, allowances, and pricing are displayed inside the App at the time of purchase.

4.2 Credit Packs

You may also purchase one-time credit packs that top up your balance without committing to a recurring subscription. Pack credits never expire and are spent only after any subscription credits have been used for the current cycle.

4.3 Credit Pricing

Each generated page costs 6 credits. We may change this rate from time to time; any change is announced inside the App before it takes effect and never applies retroactively to a comic you have already started.

4.4 Refunds for Failed Pages

If a page fails during generation, the credits charged for that page are automatically refunded to your pack balance. No action is required on your part.

4.5 Billing

All payments are processed by Apple's App Store and are subject to Apple's payment terms. By subscribing or purchasing a credit pack you authorise Apple to charge your selected payment method at the then-current rate. Prices are displayed in your local currency and may vary by region.

4.6 Free Trial

If we offer a free trial for POW! Pro, you will not be charged during the trial period. At the end of the trial your subscription automatically converts to a paid subscription at the then-current rate unless you cancel beforehand. You may cancel the trial at any time through your Apple ID account settings.

4.7 Auto-Renewal

Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period (weekly, annually, or any other interval listed on the paywall) unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the period ends. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the then-current rate.

4.8 Managing & Cancelling

You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID account settings (Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — Pro features remain active until then.

4.9 Refunds

All in-app purchases are processed by Apple. We do not directly process refunds. To request one, contact Apple Support or visit reportaproblem.apple.com. Refund eligibility is determined by Apple under their refund policy.

4.10 Price Changes

We reserve the right to change subscription or pack prices. If a change applies to your existing subscription, we will provide notice through the App and the App Store, and you will have the opportunity to accept the new price or cancel before the change becomes effective. Continued use of the subscription after the change constitutes acceptance.

5. Acceptable Use

When generating comics with the App you agree not to:

create or attempt to create any content that sexualises minors or constitutes child sexual abuse material;
generate sexual, violent, or harassing depictions of real people without their explicit consent;
generate content that incites violence, hatred, or discrimination against any individual or group;
impersonate or closely mimic copyrighted characters, celebrities, or trademarks for commercial gain or in a way likely to mislead;
attempt to bypass safety filters via prompt injection, hidden text, or other circumvention techniques.

Our content moderation systems and the upstream AI provider may reject requests that violate these rules. Repeat or egregious violations may result in revocation of your access and forfeiture of any unused credits.

6. Generated Content & AI Output

Subject to your compliance with these Terms and applicable law, you retain ownership of the comic pages you generate. You may share, print, post, and use them freely for personal and commercial purposes.

Note however that:

copyright protection for AI-generated images varies by jurisdiction — independent legal advice is recommended before any high-value commercial use;
two users with the same prompt may receive similar (or even near-identical) outputs from the AI provider, and we make no claim of exclusivity;
the AI provider may apply its own license terms to the underlying model output. We pass those rights through to you to the maximum extent we are able under our agreement with that provider.

7. User Responsibilities

7.1 Device Permissions

The App needs access to your photo library to add character references and to optional system permissions (notifications, etc.) to deliver completion alerts. You may grant or revoke these permissions at any time through your device's Settings; revoking a permission may limit the corresponding feature.

7.2 Backups

You are solely responsible for maintaining your own copies of comics or characters that matter to you. Use the in-app share button to save pages to your photo library before deleting them.

7.3 Lawful Use

You agree to use the App in compliance with all applicable local, national, and international laws.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT (A) THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, TIMELY, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE; (B) THE OUTPUT OBTAINED FROM THE APP WILL BE ACCURATE, RELIABLE, OR FIT FOR YOUR INTENDED USE; (C) ANY GIVEN PAGE GENERATION WILL SUCCEED ON THE FIRST ATTEMPT; OR (D) ANY ERRORS WILL BE CORRECTED WITHIN A SPECIFIC TIMEFRAME.

YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT THE APP RELIES ON GENERATIVE AI MODELS THAT MAY PRODUCE INACCURATE, BIASED, OR UNEXPECTED OUTPUT, AND THAT YOU ARE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR REVIEWING AND USING THAT OUTPUT.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL REIDXSOFT, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, GOODWILL, DATA, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, REGARDLESS OF THE THEORY OF LIABILITY (CONTRACT, TORT, STRICT LIABILITY, OR OTHERWISE), EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THESE TERMS OR THE APP SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID THROUGH THE APP IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100.00).

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, without prior notice, if you breach these Terms or use the App in a manner that we reasonably believe could damage us, other users, or third parties. On termination:

your license to use the App immediately ceases;
you must uninstall the App from your devices;
Sections 2.3, 6, 8, 9, 11, and 13 survive termination.

You may terminate these Terms at any time by uninstalling the App and cancelling any active subscriptions.

11. Apple-Specific Terms

The following additional terms apply because the App is distributed through the Apple App Store:

Acknowledgment. These Terms are between you and ReiDxSoft only, and not with Apple Inc. ("Apple"). ReiDxSoft, not Apple, is solely responsible for the App and its content.
Scope of License. The license granted in Section 2.1 is limited to a non-transferable license to use the App on any Apple-branded products that you own or control, subject to the Usage Rules of the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.
Maintenance and Support. ReiDxSoft is solely responsible for providing maintenance and support services for the App. Apple has no obligation to furnish any maintenance or support.
Warranty. If the App fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price of the App (if any). To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the App.
Product Claims. ReiDxSoft, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims relating to the App or your possession or use of it, including (i) product liability claims, (ii) any claim that the App fails to conform to any applicable legal or regulatory requirement, and (iii) claims arising under consumer protection or similar legislation.
Intellectual Property Claims. If a third party claims that the App or your use of it infringes their intellectual property rights, ReiDxSoft, not Apple, will be solely responsible for the investigation, defence, settlement, and discharge of that claim.
Third-Party Beneficiary. You acknowledge that Apple, and Apple's subsidiaries, are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms, and that Apple has the right (and is deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary.

12. Modifications to the App and Terms

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the App (or any feature within it) at any time, with or without notice. We are not liable to you or any third party for any such modification, suspension, or discontinuation.

We may revise these Terms from time to time. The most current version is always available inside the App at this URL. If a revision is material we will provide reasonable notice in-App before it becomes effective. Your continued use of the App after revisions become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable; if such modification is not possible, the provision shall be deemed deleted. Any modification or deletion of a provision does not affect the validity of the remaining Terms.

14. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and the Apple Standard EULA, constitute the entire agreement between you and ReiDxSoft regarding your use of the App and supersede all prior or contemporaneous understandings, written or oral, regarding the App.
